GLOCESTER, R.I. -- Two former Glocester residents who were targets of a months-long investigation by the Glocester police were arraigned before Judge Pamela Woodcock-Pfeiffer Thursday following their arrest at their Providence home.
Police said Michael Pinto, 29, and Lois Stafford, 19, were arrested at their home on Ridge Street on charges of selling cocaine and marijuana out of their former residence on Money Hill Road, Glocester. Police said they found drugs and two semi-automatic pistols in the house.
Pinto was ordered held without bail, pending a hearing on Nov. 3. Stafford was held on $10,000 bail, pending a hearing Dec. 15.
The arrests were carried out by the Glocester police and the Rhode Island State Police Fugitive and Narcotic Task Force.
